New Years Carnival on the Esplanade
Bringing in the new year is a blast with a stay in Surfers Paradise! From the 27th of December to the 1st of January you can welcome 2020 with a New Years extravaganza. There will be both 8pm fireworks on NYE for younger families, and 12pm fireworks for the young at heart. Released from an offshore barge the spectacular display over the ocean is guaranteed to delight, with arguably one of the best fireworks displays on the coast.
Celebrate from the Skypoint Observation Deck
Taking in views of the fireworks from above, and celebrating in style doesn’t get much better than New Year’s Eve at the Skypoint Observation Deck in the Q1 building. This year's theme is the 80’s, so pull out that fluoro from the back of your wardrobe and compete to win the title of best dressed for the evening.
